Why do guys think it's so hot for us girls to play video games?

I was talking to this guy the other day and we got in to an argument about COD4 and he just thought it was so cool that i knew what i was talking about and he said "Wow, this is just so hot!" and i wanted to know why guys think that girls playing video games is hot. It's not that big of a deal is it?Why do guys think it's so hot for us girls to play video games?
Because most online gaming is surrounded by men.



Men love women. So when a woman comes into a lobby, they try to make themselves look as cool as possible to see if she would add them to their friends list.



Pretty common occurrence. It's quite hilarious.
I don't know.,.. a ton of girls play them, it's not really a big deal to me either. I think guys just associate video games with being a boy thing, and maybe they've met a lot of girls who either don't care about them at all, don't play them, or hate them. But there are tons of girls who love them. =) And there are also girls who willingly play with their boyfriends to make them happy too, which is nice. But there are also the girlfriends who hate video games because their boyfriends spend more time with the games then they do with them. =P On things like Xbox Live, there doesn't seem to be that many girls on there, so I suppose seeing a girl every once in awhile is exciting. Especially a girl who knows what she's doing. Keep it up! ;)

Most guys think that is hot because we would have never guested that most girls would play video games with us better yet by themselves, i was surprised to hear that my girlfriend plays the same games as me...Most girls that guys know don't play games, they just go out shopping and gossip with their friends about their relationship or their past relationship with a guy
Its just a common intrest, guys like it when you take notice of things they like, just like girls like the attention from guys.

i don't think it's hot, girls usually suck at the games and it's really annoying listening to a bunch of dutchies ask for a girl's myspace all game. i've got a couple girls on my list and they are not hot, they are good and not annoying.
yes because guys like girls and gamer guys like gaming and when they met a gamer girl or any girl that knows about video games they get excited because they have something to talk about and whit a girl that's like heaven to us lol!!
For me, it's simply because I like girls that love the same things that I do, and I love videogames. That simple.
