Well... it's kind of cool for a minute. You're like "wow! you play Unreal Tournament too!" But girls can totally intrude on guy's territory where they're beating you at your own game. Suddenly it's not so cool anymore.
It's funny actually, the way that it's often percieved. Like I say, it's cool usually right at the beginning, but if the girl takes it too seriously they're waivering on becoming "one of the guys"-- which most guys don't take to too well.
Personally, I think it's hilarious to see my friends get pwnd by some girl just to see them get pissed off-- but I'm very rarely attracted to that girl. I just appreciate what she brings to the table.

It's not wierd for girls to play any games. I've been doing it for more years than I care to mention. I have the callouses on my thumbs to prove it! My suggestion, is to be better than the guys that don't think it's cool, and teach 'em a lesson!
