Are girls more attractive to the cool guys than the nerds even if you're good looking?

I'm a 16 year old guy from sweden and I would say i'm a little bit of a nerd. I play computer games and I like to go to the school to learn new things. I'm pretty tall around 185 cm and i'm fitter for my age because I go to the gym two times a week.

A lot of my friends that are girls outside the school tells me i'm really good looking and has a nice personality. Some of the guys even says so.



But in my class the girls don't even talk to me or my friends that much. They just hanging out with the cool guys on the recess. And us the "nerds" is on the internet playing computer-games. But some of the girls looks at me and smiles sometimes but they don't saying anything and when I smile back they just look away.



Is this normal or not?

Does it has anything to do with that i'm friends with the wrong people?Are girls more attractive to the cool guys than the nerds even if you're good looking?
Okay NERDS can be hot. Computer games? Normal! Your a dude!



Not going to lie I am quite the nerd, so is my friend. We got to know eachother very well, opened up - and we're total nerds together. Everyone has alittle nerdiness in them! Stop consuming yourself with being a nerd and do not be afraid to talk to the girls checking you out. If your questioing your group of friends ... are they nerds or complete dorks?

The problem is you are too passive. You are waiting for these girls to talk to you, but instead you should talk to these girls. You do not necessarily hang out with 'wrong' people, but your friends are probably as passive as you are.Are girls more attractive to the cool guys than the nerds even if you're good looking?
I'm Swedish and I am a geek always more attractive than a "cool guy". I'm a geek too and have the same problem, the guys always preferred to the more "cool girls". It's about having confidence, I think, even if you're a nerd (male / female) will always be more attractive if you can laugh at yourself! It's OK to be shy, but remember, the only one you can change is yourself. Good luck! :)



Jag 盲r svensk och en n枚rd 盲r alltid mer attraktiv 盲n en "cool kille". Jag 盲r en n枚rd med och har samma problem, killarna dras alltid till de mer "coola tjejerna". Det handlar om att ha sj盲lvf枚rtroende tror jag, 盲ven om man 盲r en n枚rd (tjej/kille) blir man alltid mer attraktiv om man kan skratta 氓t sig sj盲lv! Det 盲r okej att vara blyg, men kom ih氓g; den enda man kan 盲ndra p氓 盲r sig sj盲lv. Lycka till! :)
It sounds like you need to be a bit more outgoing. Don't play video games in front of girls either. Nothing wrong with learning though. Also girls arent going to chase you, you normally have to go to them. There is no point in not trying to get to know a girl and see if something is there, very few girls will actually give you the cold shoulder, and who cares if they do? There are plenty of great girls in the world and if it doesn't work out with one there is always another. Just jump in and see what happens.
