I am a combination of both I play baseball and football so I have to stay in shape, but I also like to draw, play video games. I have a nice personality and I am always there for my friends, I also have a very high pain tolerance, which according to some girls I have talked to is so cool.

I like a perfect blend of the both. An athletic (type 2) guy is hot, and may hook me, but a type 1 personality keeps me liking him. For example, the guy that I'm in love with is very athletic- he plays baseball and likes to watch football, but he's also really sweet and shy and sensitive, and he's a really amazing piano player. That's what usually gets me, it's just the jockish qualities that I find hot
If I had to choose between one or the other, I'd pick artistic. I have experience with both artistic and jock types, and jocks are by far some of the stupidest people I've ever met. It's like they've had their cell phone glued to their ear so much all the radiation melted their brain.
To the girls who say being sensitive is "gay"; Being sensitive doesn't mean being overemotional, it means being in-tune with other people. It's not gay in a homosexual way. I say a combination of both. I wouldn't really want a total jock, because jocks are sometimes kind of players, NOT always but sometimes. And I don't want a bf that's in it for one thing. But I also wouldn't want someone totally artistic, because I would want my bf to be somewhat athletic. I like a mix of both. Strong but sweet. :) Someone to protect us. (: Hope I helped!

Dont change too much for a girl. A little change is nice but not a big one than you can never be yourself with her. But if I had to choose I would pick the first one because I wouldnt really care if I guy had big abs or played quarterback or whatever. I would just care about him treating me with respect and care and knowing that he is always there for me. That is the kind of guy I would like. It's not all about image you know.
I like everything about number one except for the "sensitive" part. If "sensitive" means compassionate and deep, then yeah, but if you mean like weepy and soft, then NO. A guy with inner strength is so much more attractive than a guy with just outer strength.
Guys can be lanky with stout hearts and be way more attractive than macho tough guys with inner weakness.
While its nice to have an artistic guy who is sensitive and caring. You need to have a man who is strong and likes to be in shape. A good combination of both is ideal but i say stereotypes are not important. The most important thing is how he treats you.

1 I really dislike how some jocks act. The ones I've met are childish, slackers, obnoxious, and cheaters. Whats to LIKE?! I'm not saying that all jocks are like that, but where I live and where I go to school thats how they act.

You know, it all just depends on the guy really. I would go out with either just all depending on their personality and stuff. I don't prefer a particular type.
Definitely the artistic type. I especially like when he's well-read, smart, funny and likes gaming as well as having a talent with art.
Combination of both, A man has to be Smart, strong, tough, with good sense of humor and of course loving and caring.
honestly i like jock guys better. but that is maybe because i like sports. i dont like art. a girl that likes art would prob very much enjoy a guy that takes the same intrest. it really depends on the girl.
