Girls who play video games... What do you guys think?

I'm not too huge on the Halo/Guitar Hero epidemic. I'm more for the classic Mario, Zelda, Sonic, DigDug, Space Invaders kinda thing. Ha. I've got every Nintendo console except for the Wii (coming soon). So what do you guys think? Are girls who play video games hot? Do you see that as a cool thing? Or perhaps all of this is just plain weird, maybe you think video games are just for the guys. Tell me your opinion!Girls who play video games... What do you guys think?
I findit amusing if girls are gamers. If they don't like video games, then they are boring and a waste of my time.
I'm okay with it. I like playing Nintendo games myself and they have a lot games, too, like what you said, I like playing all the Zelda games. Also, since you don't have the Wii, you can get Twilight Princess for the GameCube at EB Games (if walmart doesn't have any left or if they're sold out).Girls who play video games... The girls tend not to like the consoles like PS2, XBox 360, PS3 as they don't have any games that they are interested in!

They might however like the Wii, Nintendo consoles because they have games likely to pull them in, like Mario or Sonic.

Awww I think thats sweet :) but yeh I would say it's useful to share intrests.
Personally, I love both classic (Zelda, Mario, etc.) and newer (Call of Duty 4, Rainbow Six 2) games. I love the old PC games, too, like Diablo 2 and Starcraft. It's fun to chat with people online, but I tend to be treated differently when people find out I'm a girl, which can be either good or bad. My boyfriend, however, simply loves the fact that I'm into video games, and we play together a lot. Guys find it interesting when girls play video games because it's one more thing they have in common! Plus, girls who are into video games are usually more fun and laid-back; not your average high-maintenance prissy queens.
