I mean it's like playing a gamecube game with really good graphics! But the XBox 360 is just an amazing system with so much power and great games like COD 3, Gears Of War, Oblivion, and great games coming out like Guitar Hero 2 and GTA 5!
The PS3 is simply a powerhouse, it has so much power and dwarfs the Wii in every category, right now it has bad games but when more come out I can't wait!

I know man, I hate the wii, and it seems like everyone loves it. I feel so alone here. It shouldn't even be a next-gen console. I already have a PS2 that has a bad eye, but I'm getting a PS2 slim rather than a wii. And actually its GTA 4 coming out, not 5.

What Do You Find So Appealing About The Wii?You speak of "hardcore gamers" I see your full of sh!t. Nintendo is the old school and playing it reminds us of the golden age of gaming. Back when the games were more fun less graphics.
Graphics are a lot, but storyline, gameplay, and most importantly all around fun factor are so much more.
Graphics now dominate the systems, but Nintendo attempts more and more to immerse you in the fun and the game. I personally wouldnt buy Playstation which copied Nintedo to start.
( although honestly I do not hold this against them as it would have been a little hard to find a different controller scheme and they WERE supposed to be with Nintendo until Nintendo cut them out )
But still, spewing such nonsense about Nintendo being childish just isnt right.
There is nothing special about the wii. the only good reason is that the new super smash vros. brawl is coming ouy. the ps3 is better right nnow because of course blu-ray. the 360 now has a better line of video games,but im sure the ps3 is going to catch up.the other thing about the 360 is the new hd-dvd player. i saw the commercials when i was watching a dvd movie and that player is nice.but also the new laptops can support it.the wii cannot support movies right now so that is a prob.bottom line is that 360 is the winner fro the games,and the ps3 wins the high definistion revoultion and lives up to its expectations.
i thinck that the ps3 might be the best but the wii is for people that are smaller. and they would also like to do those moves with the conttroler
The Wii is all about having fun, and it delivers. The PS3 is all about drop dead gorgeous graphics, but that is about it as far as I can tell. I've played a bunch of demos of PS3 games, and there isn't one single one that I could say I HAVE TO play again. If I never played those games for the rest of my life, it wouldn't matter.
I do like Oblivion though, but I already own it for XBox 360, so can't even use that argument. The Graphics on the Wii for Twilight Princess are good though. Sure, they aren't as good as the PS3, but I'd much prefer great gameplay over amazing graphics anyday.

dude i agree the graphics are about as good as the N64.. but you gotta look at HOW you play.. not WHAT you play!!! I've played all 3 systems but own NONE of them (I'm waiting for the $600 price tag to go down). I really like how when you play the Wii with more than one everyone jumps around and laughs... its great for when you have people over that don't usually play video games... like parents for example!!
I think that it was Nintendo way of getting other people to buy the Wii other than just "the hardcore gamers" They sold out just as fast a the 360 or PS3 so i think that its just fine!!! They should definitely do something about those graphics tho UGH like playing a NES right when Sega genises came out
The wii may be a different level of entertainment from, say the PS#, but it doesnt m,ake either one better or worse. The wii is designed to be interactive and physical, while the PS# is more "reality" based when it comes to manovering games such as Halo. The objectivity of the games, for example Wii Sports, is to involve the user directly and physically into the game and the PS# is more a mental quest. The Wii's chose of graphic style is fitting for the type of games and services the Wii provides.
The wii is new though and the good games are still waiting. I agree there graphics arn`t the best but the PS3 is the same as the rst just new system design. Xbox 360 is probally the best of them.
The Wii is definitely the worst system of the three, graphically speaking. I also agree that the 360 and PS3 are the better choices for hard-core gamers. However, the Wii is the best choice for those who want to get the family and non-gaming friends involved. My wife is hooked on it. It also has a lot of potential to be a great source of exercise when future games come along that really focus on that aspect. Some people say they get a workout from Wii Sports, but I think those people are out of shape. I have yet to break a sweat, although boxing is pretty vigorous.
The Wii will also be the definitive party-game machine, with Wii Sports and Rayman already out and Warioware, Wii Play, and Marioparty 8 coming soon. This games can be enjoyed by anyone and are great when the drinks are flowing. Should be fun.
I used to be a hardcore gamer but I don't have the time anymore, so the Wii is fun to pick up and play. If I had the time to game and I had to choose between the systems, I would pick up a 360, then a PS3 in a year or so when the games start getting good. The nice thing is that each system is pretty unique and gamers have a choice, unlike in the old days when all the systems were pretty much the same.
Because it has fun games.

I mean, that's just my 2cents. Personally, Wii appeals to me because I don't really see why graphics are the number one top priority. I still have lots of fun with a NES and PS1.
