-have someone else make a scavenger hunt for you (such as objects you have to find/stuff you have to do to get the next clue. It could be camping related such as each team of people has to gather as many supplies as they think they would need to go camping. A parent could have a list of 10 random general camping equipment items a person would take on a camping trip. The group who has the most items which are mentioned on the list wins.

Or it could be just a general scavenger hunt such as each group of people gets a list of things to find/do and they have to find it themselves (such as find an oak leaf, gravel, a band-aid, flashlight etc.)

It could even be as elaborate as having someone drive you around the city to get supplies you need (eg. you have to get a smooth skipping stone from Waterfront beach or something like that).

You may need volunteers/parents to help with this. You could give the volunteers a thank you gift for helping because they will appreciate it and they probably won't hesitate in helping you again next year. XD Remember to give the winner of the scavenger hunt a prize too!)

-would you be able to roast marshmallows over a campfire before you go to sleep? That's a classic but still fun. We used to roast marshmallows in the kitchen with individual candles (with parental supervision)

-this is one idea my sister's friends birthday party came up with. Each person at the party was given a menu for supper and on the menu was written random stuff such as "the queen of englands supper" and "dog food" The people in the party ordered something from the menu. Each item on the menu was connected to an actual food (such as "the queen of englands supper" was actually lasagna, and "dog food" was actually a slice of pizza). Make sure you have at least two of each food item in case two people order the same food. Have as many options on the menu as you like (In your case the things on the menu could be "roadkill", "camp food", "raccoon supper" stuff like that.

-for fun you could toilet paper a tree in your yard (in the dark). That depends on where you live i guess. But instead of using toilet paper give each person a roll of colourful streamers (each person gets one colour and you guys can decorate the tree in the dark. I don't know if that sounds like a lot of fun but it could be when you are bored and have nothing to do at night . lol)

-you could buy a bunch of white t-shirts and some dye and you could all tye-dye your t-shirts outside in your backyard.

(these are videos/instructions on how to tie-dye (not all of them have the same instructions but i found a couple so you can see which method you like best:

-some snacks that you could make include cups of worms in dirt (gummy worms in crushed oreos%26amp; whipped cream). And bug juice (green Kool-Aid) with gummy or plastic toy bugs in the cups. (that could be the dessert and drink on the menu)

-party favours could include glow-sticks. Those are always fun
